Tunnel Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate activities of tunnel construction crew engaged in sinking shafts, boring tunnels, placing tunnel segments, moving shield forward, and excavating in front of shield.
2. Determine spacing, alignment, and depth of blast holes.
3. Assist and support Engineers in carrying out works as assigned, ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance with relevant regulations.
4. Manage and supervise site workers for each shift.
5. Ensure completion of work in accordance with the main contractor program and requirements safely, with no accidents or incidents.
6. Troubleshoot and submit in-house reports.
7. Provide hands-on training for erecting segments, ring building, etc.
8. Able to work shifts (day and night).

Minimum Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervision of temporary works and underground structures or tunnelling.
2. Possess Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor and BCSS-T.
