Min 10 years of working experience (multi-type dealing experience is preferable) in treasury business with the qualification of FMRP (Financial Markets Regulatory Practices) exam in Singapore
General knowledge on the operational risks arising from CIB activities.
Tact and ability to interact with staff and management at all levels in order to achieve mutually acceptable resolution of incidents
Require determination to succeed in the implementation of processes in the face of some reluctant parties.
Responsibilities:
Handle the full spectrum of treasury functions of the group businesses.
Analyse financial information and provide strategic recommendations to the Board, CFO and Senior Management team.
Prepare cash flow reports, cost analyses, and annual budgets to support business decision-making.
Establish sound internal controls and corporate governance practices.
Implement transfer pricing between related companies.
Implement processes to improve treasury functions, payments, and disbursements.
Strengthen the Permanent Control Framework of ALM Treasury APAC as per Global business policy and guidelines.
Contribute to the implementation of an efficient procedure framework and a homogeneous control setup in all geographies in APAC.
Perform operational risk assessment of ALM Treasury APAC per Global ALM Treasury OPC policy and requirements.
Verify the formal evidence of controls reported based on self-assessment of potential risk areas and upon request from ALM Treasury Management.
Ensure the implementation of an efficient setup for follow-up of Inspection and other recommendations, as well as significant risk mitigation actions.
Monitor and analyze historical incidents and related control plans.
Participate/coordinate TAC / NAC / IAC for APAC ALM Treasury.
Assist subordinates in dealing with treasury business and liquidity requirements to increase branch revenue.
Collect and analyze market information and trends, help organize new business for expanding scope of business.
Approve reference and declaration prices of exchange rate and interest rate for internal use and for clients.
Implement treasury marketing and organize the issuance of wealth management products; supervise wealth management business promotion and development to achieve earnings target of financial products.
Handle any ad-hoc matters assigned by the supervisor.
