Transport Coordinator

This role reports to the Assistant Manager, Transport or the Assistant Transport Controller.

The Transport Coordinator supervises and monitors the truck drivers' well-being and ensures they are performing in accordance with the delivery schedule and servicing schedule. He/She will have to follow up and manage drivers' attendance and will need to head to different construction sites to monitor and supervise other drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with site personnel for delivery scheduling
• Propose alternate solutions in meeting targets if the schedule or work fails to be achieved
• Attend truck-related court cases when applicable
• Ensure the proper keeping and maintenance of all trucks
• Ensure practices and procedures meet legal guidelines and health and safety requirements
• Ensure safety practices and housekeeping are maintained to the highest standard
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Familiarity with Singapore Routes
• Ability to work night shifts when assigned
