Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Quality Specialist to join our team in the adult training industry. The Training Quality Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our training programs through courseware, trainers and delivery methods. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to continuously improve our training offerings.

Role & Responsibilities

Learning Experience Quality Assurance

  • Training Quality Surveys – Obtain, account for and analyse all training feedback from surveys administered including JCI surveys and TRAQOM surveys
  • Ensure timely follow up with all stakeholders and proper documentation is kept so that there is a complete feedback loop

Courseware Quality Review:

  • Conduct periodic reviews of all training courses to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate course materials, including presentations, manuals, online resources, and assessments, for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with learning objectives.
  • Assess the level of engagement, interactivity, and accessibility in course materials to enhance the learning experience for participants.
  • Collect feedback from trainers, learners, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in course content and delivery methods.
  • Maintain documentation of the Courseware Quality Review process, including revisions, updates, and version control.

Adult Educator Quality Review:

  • Identify, interview and onboard new adult educators for both WSQ and non-WSQ training
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of adult educators (AEs) delivering training programs on a regular basis.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to AEs based on performance evaluations, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Identify professional development needs and opportunities for AEs to enhance their instructional skills and subject matter expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with certification requirements and professional standards for AEs through regular monitoring and documentation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of AE performance evaluations, feedback sessions, and professional development activities.
  • Organise and hold JCI AE meetings, networking & engagement sessions at least twice a year

Learning Management System:

  • Manage and oversee the learning management system (LMS) to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new training modules, courses, and resources within the LMS platform.
  • Provide technical support and training to users, including trainers, learners, and administrative staff, on LMS functionality and best practices.
  • Monitor LMS usage metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure LMS fulfils all of SSG’s requirements, as well as other regulatory requirements

Product Development

  • Assist in the development of courses
  • Assist sales team in business development opportunities (e.g. crafting course outlines and finding the appropriate trainer for the course)
  • Assist in organizing Train-The-Trainer (TTT) sessions for new courses
  • Assist in organizing course preview sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field; Fresh Graduates welcome to apply
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or quality assurance, preferably in the adult training industry.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • ACTA/ACLP is required
  • DACE/DDDLP certification is preferred
