Job Title: Training Officer, Sheltered Workshop Programme

The Training Officer will be responsible for the daily training provided to Bizlink Centre clients attending the sheltered workshop programme in the logistic and fulfilment division.

Responsibilities

1. To train persons with disabilities in pre-vocational, vocational and community living skills.
2. Assist with activities to develop social skills and physical maintenance.
3. To supervise and provide quality check of clients’ packing work.
4. To be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the clients.
5. To provide periodic updates to caregivers on client progress.
6. To work with the Department Head in coordinating events that clients attend on a periodic basis.
7. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop, implement and monitor clients’ individual training plans.
8. To be responsible for clients’ case management.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Special Education, Community Services and Disability Studies.
2. Applicants with NITEC Certificate in Community Care & Social Services and Certificate of Special Needs Education with experience can apply.
3. Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Possesses good organizational and time management skills.
5. Be able to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team.
6. Experience in training and working with people with special needs will be an advantage.
7. Have great passion in wanting to make a difference with people with special needs and train them to acquire vocational skills.

Salary Range

$2,610 - $3,000
