Training Development Director

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Training & Development Director to lead and enhance our Chinese language teaching programs at our tuition center. This is a strategic leadership role focused on developing teaching frameworks, coaching educators, and ensuring curriculum excellence aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Chinese language curriculum and instructional materials for Primary and Secondary levels.
• Oversee teacher training, mentorship, and professional development to ensure high teaching standards.
• Evaluate and improve pedagogical strategies to enhance student engagement and academic performance.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback for continual improvement in teaching effectiveness.
• Ensure alignment with MOE syllabus requirements and incorporate best practices in Chinese language education.
• Develop long-term educational strategies and learning outcomes for the center’s Chinese program.
• Analyze student performance data and recommend targeted interventions to support learning.
• Coordinate with center leadership to plan new program launches and teaching innovations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Chinese Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Chinese language education, including curriculum design and teacher training.
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s education system and MOE Chinese syllabus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team and implement effective educational programs.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English is essential; ability to communicate in other regional languages is a plus.
