THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission To Serve Mankind to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors' Community, and Therapy.

DESIGNATION: Training Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibility of the Training Assistant is to assist and support the implementation of skills training for clients with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Take class attendance and compute the attendance summary
2. Brainstorm and plan activities to support trainees' learning
3. Prepare the teaching resources
4. Carry out the training programme
5. Maintain a clean, tidy, safe and conducive learning environment
6. Maintain regular communication with parents on client's progress
7. Liaise with employers on job opportunities and work-related enquiries
8. Support trainees in their job search, including preparation of resumes, completing job applications, and preparing for work interviews
9. Support and coach trainees at work-site to fulfil required job tasks and appropriate social, communication and self-management skills

QUALIFICATIONS

ITE/Technical Certification, GCE 'A' level or GCE 'O' Level
