Trainee Teppanyaki Chef

We are Teppan Secret, a brand-new teppanyaki food stall launching at Hougang Green Shopping Mall, Food Loft coffeeshop on 21 March 2025. We're looking for trainee teppanyaki chefs to join our team and learn the craft directly from our Head Chef with 20+ years of experience.

This is a hands-on training program where you’ll get real kitchen experience. No prior experience required – just a passion for food and a willingness to learn!

Job Scope:

Teppanyaki cooking – Learn to master the hotplate
Food prep – Cutting, marinating, and ingredient setup
Cashiering – Taking orders and handling payments
Kitchen support – Washing, cleaning, and keeping hygiene standards
Inventory management – Stock-taking and restocking ingredients
Multi-tasking – Helping in various roles as part of the team

Salary & Benefits:

Starting Salary: $3,000 - $3,400 /month
