TRAINEE MANAGER

Job Description & Requirements

Report to the Restaurant Manager or a management staff appointed by the Company.

1. Support and assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the restaurant.
2. Deputise in the absence of the Managers.
3. Supervise a team of service crew to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
4. Handle cashiering duties and perform banking duties.
5. Conduct interviews for new hires.
6. Guide and train new and existing Service Crew.
7. Constantly motivate and cultivate a team spirit.
8. Maintain utmost service standards and discipline/grooming among the service staff.
9. Assist in crew performance appraisals and confirmations.
10. Conduct daily checklists.
11. Constantly obtain customer feedback to ensure satisfaction.
12. Attend to customer complaints (if any).
13. Assist the Restaurant Manager in monitoring labour and F&B costing matters, including bi-monthly stock takes.
14. Adhere to the Company’s standard operating procedures.
15. Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
