Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting client service and middle office activities of the Corporate Trade Finance and Cash Management business.
- Assisting Middle Office head in driving assigned projects including reports, User Acceptance Test (UAT)’s etc.
- Working closely with back office (Operations) on instruction of client service head on client transactions.
- Preparing monthly reports and analysis for Trade Finance and Cash Management business.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders in Operations, Regional office Legal, Compliance, Relationship Managers etc. to deliver quality support.
This is a fixed-term 12-month Trainee contract with Société Générale. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full-time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
Profile Required
Academic Background and Certifications, Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Understanding of Trade Finance, cash management, or client management is advantageous.
- Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and adept at prioritizing assigned tasks.
- Possesses strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Demonstrates integrity, initiative, and resourcefulness, functioning both independently and proactively as a valuable team player.

Department Description
Global Transaction Banking, Trade Services in Singapore offers a full range of Trade and Supply Chain Financing products and services to Financial Institutions (“FI”) & Corporate clients. This role will support Relationship Managers managing corporate clients and the Payments & Cash Management team.
