Plan and optimize transportation routes for fleet operations using the TMS, considering factors such as traffic conditions, vehicle capacity, and delivery schedules.
Monitor real-time fleet updates and proactively adjust route plans to minimize delays, optimize fuel efficiency, and meet delivery deadlines. Receive transportation requests and dispatch prime mover drivers to assigned pick-up and delivery locations using the TMS.
Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and logistics partners to prioritize and schedule transportation activities based on urgency and demand.
Generate and analyze performance reports from the TMS to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, fleet & asset utilization, and driver productivity. Extract data from the TMS system to identify lost capacity/efficiency of the delivery fleet.
Serve as the primary user and administrator of the TMS for managing fleet operations.
Monitor vehicle performance metrics to identify opportunities for fleet optimization and cost reduction.
Manage and verify key information of drivers’ trips, reimbursements, licenses, and statuses via the TMS.
Process and handle documents through the PSA Portnet System.
Familiarization with the PSA procedures, Jurong port, Portnet System, and JP – Online.
Basic knowledge of direct loading/delivery operations.
Ensure all drivers are aware of specific customer requirements.
Oversee Portnet processed containers.
Ensure full compliance with workplace safety & health requirements in accordance with MOM/WSH mandatory requirements.
Well-versed with Singapore roads.
Qualification and Education Requirements:
GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ levels.
At least 1 year’s relevant experience in 3rd party logistics, preferably in Traffic Planning & Workforce Planning & Allocations.
Must possess a good knowledge of Import & Export procedures.
Familiarization with the PSA procedures, Portnet System, Jurong port, JP – Online, and container booking systems (CMS, Container chain, Allied depots booking system, Let’s go and HLA booking system).
Basic Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Excel, & Word.
Willing to take responsibility and accountability for their role. Capable of identifying and suggesting improvements.
Able to remain calm and make logical decisions in a stressful environment.
