Job description

Trade Marketing, Senior Executive will play a key part in developing and executing successful trade marketing programs that drive our product sales and brand awareness for our products through company-owned retail stores, open-market touch points and superstores (i.e Courts, Best Denki, Populars etc)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing programs to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align trade activities with overall brand and product strategy
  • Conduct competitor analysis specifically for mobile plan offerings and promotions
  • Plan and deliver product training on new/ updated plans to internal staff and external resellers/partners
  • Identify, source, and collaborate with new partners/resellers to showcase our brand and sell mobile plans
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, providing recommendations for optimization
  • Manage relationships with key retail partners and potential new collaborators
  • Manage the trade marketing budget effectively
  • Support ad-hoc marketing administrative tasks and special projects whenever required

Key Actions for New Mobile Plan Launch:

  1. POSM Deployment: Execute point-of-sales materials deployment across islandwide (e.g., pull-up banners, flyers, etc.) for the new mobile plan
  2. POSM Inventory Management: Replenish POSM stock for the new mobile plan whenever required
  3. Roadshow Management: Plan and run periodic roadshows to promote the new mobile plan (whenever required).
  4. Training: Conduct product training on the new mobile plan for staff and resellers/partners
  5. Collaboration: Source for new partnerships/resellers to showcase the new mobile plan.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 5 years of experience in trade marketing, retail / channel sales or a similar role in the Telecommunication Industry
  • Strong understanding of retail channels and POS execution for service-based products
  • Experience in conducting competitor analysis for service offerings
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs on onboarding products/services
  • Experience in identifying and establishing new partnerships
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and execution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skill
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
