Trade Finance Specialist

As a key member of the Bromma Finance team, you are responsible for a smooth Order To Cash process within the scope of responsibility as a Trade Finance representative.

Your ability to ensure seamless operations of trade finance activities through collaborative partnership with both internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to regional sales representatives, Order management team, shared services teams, and banks, is a key factor to success.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert in Trade Finance and pro-actively assist the Commercial Management organization in related matters, including contractual issues and payment terms.
• Manage LCs, bank guarantees, and other related documents such as issuing insurance policies and certificates of origin separately if needed.
• Ensure that regulatory, bank's policies, guidelines, controls, and compliance requirements are adhered to.
• In charge of customer invoicing of machine orders for the regions assigned, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• In cooperation with other stakeholders, ensure that customer agreements are in line with the credit policy and participate in credit risk assessment of customers.
• Work with the Order management team, Regional sales representatives, and Bromma factory in support of timely delivery arrangements for customers.
• Assess and provide your recommendation on exceptional approval requests of clients’ payment terms.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

Education

• University degree (Bachelor’s Degree) level, ideally in Accounting or Finance.

Experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 years in roles of similar capacity.

Competencies

• Strong team player with a collaborative spirit.
• Good communication and effective networking skills.
• Proactive with a positive attitude towards learning.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, credit management, and payment terms.
• Knowledge in SAP or/and JIRA will be an added advantage.
