Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Trade Finance Operations in managing all aspects of trade finance operations, including import/export letters of credit, bank guarantees, and correspondent banking.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise, mentor, and train the trade finance operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies to mitigate operational and financial risks.
• Collaborate with other departments, including credit risk, compliance, and sales, to support trade finance product development and client service.
• Monitor and analyze operation metrics, preparing reports for senior management on performance and strategic opportunities.
• Address complex client inquiries and resolve issues related to trade finance transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CILT, CTP) preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in trade finance operations, with 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of trade finance products, regulations, and market trends.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
