Tower and T&T Representative

The role involves supervising cable Tower and T&T activities, serving as the first point of contact for all offshore-related activities, leading onboard daily meetings, and interfacing between OCMs (Offshore Construction Managers) and shore management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the transport and installation of wind turbine towers and associated components, ensuring all activities are conducted efficiently and safely.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Serve as the primary contact for all offshore-related activities, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of Tower and T&T operations.
• Conduct daily meetings to brief the crew on operational plans, safety protocols, and any updates or changes to the project schedule.
• Ensure all team members are aligned with project objectives and aware of their responsibilities.
• Act as the liaison between OCMs and shore management, facilitating communication and coordination.
• Ensure that all parties are informed of project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Ensure all Tower and T&T activities adhere to the highest health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tower and T&T operations, preferably in the offshore wind industry.
• Working knowledge of offshore construction contracts with a good understanding of the contractual implications of breakdowns, delays, weather downtime, etc.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using engineering software tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Current valid medical certificate and exams for offshore work according to legal requirements.
• GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
