Responsibilities
Responsible for executing and managing topside module construction and integration projects as per contractual specification and quality standard with agreed timeline and safely.
Responsible for leading the project team in completing the project(s) by a set deadline to uphold company initiatives and objectives.
Involves in all stages of the integration from preparation to completion of topside systems.
Supervises on-site construction and outfitting work and attendance at inspections and tests of structure, machinery, equipment and systems.
Enforces HSE Focus IOGP/HIRA/GOLDEN Rule, Safety audit, Safety Campaigns and Drills, and weekly HSE walkthrough to focus on critical work areas and carry out engagement of workforce on site.
Chairs various meetings with external and/or internal stakeholders. Ensures quality control on the project to maintain the standards expected of applicable rules and contract requirements.
Coordinates with Equipment Package Manager/Engineer to ensure the timely installation of equipment/bulk deliveries as well as vendor certified documents.
Identifies and resolves site/production issues for topside when necessary.
Ensures that topside module completion, testing and commissioning as per project commissioning requirements.
Leads project planning sessions, creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and ensuring projects meet deadlines.
Coordinates with Engineering, QA, Commissioning and monitoring of all project documents in order to follow Basic Design, Building Specification, applicable rules, IMO Conventions & client requirements.
Identifies risk, tracks and implements risk mitigation plans.
Makes effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
Conducts project review and creates detailed reports for Client and/or senior management.
Optimises and improves processes and the overall approach where necessary.
Chairs project post-mortem and shares lessons learned with internal stakeholders.
Summarises and issues minutes of Meeting, Presentation slides and reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in FPSO/ FLNG conversion projects and comprehensive knowledge on functionality of FPSO/ FLNG.
Possess working experience related to testing and calibration of FPSO/ FLNG instruments, DCS/ ICSS system knowledge and networking.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with ability to handle complex projects and lead multi-discipline teams.
Familiar with all the Vessel class regulations and codes.
Have a proven track record of hands-on working knowledge in FPSO/ FLNG conversion projects.
Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Proactive, able to multi-task and adaptable to a dynamic fast-paced, collaborative environment.
