Tooling Engineer.

Overview:

• Monthly Salary: Up to $3000 + AWB + VB
• Location: Loyang (Pasir Ris)
• 5 Days (Monday to Friday), 8am - 5.30pm

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prioritize departmental projects and workloads to ensure accurate and timely fabrication in alignment with project schedules.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in machinery and tooling equipment, and expedite repairs or replacements to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, offering technical guidance and support in resolving complex toolmaking challenges.
• Oversee inspection and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations while maintaining the toolroom's operational efficiency to meet project demands.
• Manage and maintain essential documentation related to toolroom operations, and advise the Tooling Manager on matters concerning machine acquisition, replacement, and maintenance.
• Liaise and collaborate with external vendors to secure competitive quotations and ensure timely delivery of components that meet required quality standards.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of toolroom practices, efficiency, and operational standards.

You will need:

• Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
• Min 1 to 2 years of relevant mould fabrication experience
