Team Introduction

The TikTok LIVE SEA team is a strategic operations and education team specializing in the internationalization of live streaming in the Asia-Pacific regions. Our responsibilities include strategic analysis and optimization of supply-side dynamics (TikTok creator network), operational education, and empowerment initiatives, aiming to drive revenue growth for live streaming businesses in the region. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our team and support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish analytical framework for the TikTok Live streaming team: root cause analysis, core metrics monitoring, and automated dashboards to surface key data insights to stakeholders and inform operational strategies.
  • Fully understand all the operation strategies and build sufficient indicators to measure the efficiency of current operational strategies.
  • Work closely with the TikTok Live frontline operational team, being highly involved in leadership discussions routinely.
  • Support key decision-making of the regional operational team and strategy team with sufficient analysis.
  • Follow up on data insights and lead special projects, working with cross-functional teams including operational, product, and strategy teams to develop operational leverages for continuous business growth.
  • Evaluate, forecast, and quantify the impact of external and internal factors on creators, agencies, operations, and the TikTok ecosystem.
  • Identify potential growth points and risk areas for the business by thinking at a high level.
  • Dive deep into the data to understand how creator and viewer behaviors change with the evolution of our operational strategies.
  • Understand top performers and use data to explore and analyze actionable operational strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in mathematics, statistics, or computer science; or a related field with experience in data statistics, analysis, or modeling.
  • Previous domain experience in a supply-demand relationship internet business, or in a high-velocity, high-growth product or team.
  • Data analysis ability, familiar with Hive SQL, Python, and R. Familiarity with machine learning knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with statistics and dashboards; experience in user growth, metrics creation, A/B testing, and data modeling is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An impact-oriented, customer-centric approach to data analysis; exceptional analysis, communication, and strategy report writing skills.
  • A “can-do” attitude with a strong sense of ownership to execute end-to-end projects.
  • Self-driven and able to manage and balance ongoing requests.
  • Experience in the live-streaming industry and understanding of the latest live-streaming trends.
