Therapy Assistant, Podiatry

You will assist Podiatrist in the delivery of treatments. Your responsibilities include setting up of equipment, ensure cleanliness and sterility of treatment area, transferring of patient and translation, inventory control and administrative duties. Under the instructions of the Podiatrist, you will assist in insoles and footwear modification, perform Diabetic foot screening and educating patients on Diabetic foot care.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Podiatrists during patient consultations and treatments

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure equipment is properly sterilised

• Help patients with mobility and positioning during treatments

• Conduct basic foot care procedures as delegated by Podiatrists

• Maintain accurate patient records and appointment schedules

• Assist in fitting orthotics and other assistive devices

• Provide basic foot health education to patients

• Monitor and maintain stock levels of clinical supplies

• Support administrative tasks related to patient care

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O’ level

• Relevant working experience assisting in the Wards / Clinics environment will be an advantage

• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
