Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide speech and language therapy service to pre-school children with developmental needs both in-class and during individual pull-out sessions.
2. Engage principals/teachers, parents and multidisciplinary teams to promote reinforcement to enhance child development outcomes.
3. Provide direct modelling to parents and teachers to equip them with means to help the pre-schoolers.
4. Partner clinical specialists to review progress and recommendations as needed.
5. Document early intervention provided and outcome achieved for the pre-school children.
6. Contribute to multidisciplinary discussion to co-create NFC’s service model to provide integrated therapy support to preschool children.

Job Requirements:

1. Recognized Degree in Speech Pathology.
2. Qualified as Conditional-Registered Therapist under the Allied Health Professional Act.
3. At least 2 years of paediatric experience.
4. Interested in supporting children in mainstream preschool setting.
5. Passionate about inclusionary practice and implementation of early intervention strategies.
6. Good communicator and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
7. Have initiative and able to work independently and yet be a good team player.
8. Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
9. An organized and systematic worker.
