Test Execution:
Perform mechanical, electrical, and functional tests on automotive components, assemblies, and vehicles.
Conduct tests such as durability, safety, environmental (e.g., temperature, humidity), vibration, and performance evaluations.
Ensure all test setups are accurate, safe, and meet the specified requirements for each test scenario.
Test Equipment Maintenance:
Set up, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment and instrumentation, ensuring all tools and equipment are functioning properly.
Troubleshoot and repair testing devices when necessary.
Ensure that equipment is compliant with calibration and safety standards.
Data Collection & Analysis:
Record test data accurately and systematically, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
Analyze results to identify trends, anomalies, or potential issues, providing detailed feedback to engineers and management.
Assist in developing test plans and protocols for new products or systems.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure all testing is performed in compliance with internal standards, industry regulations, and quality guidelines (e.g., ISO, SAE, etc.).
Support the Quality Assurance team in verifying product specifications and quality benchmarks.
Assist in preparing test reports for internal reviews, regulatory compliance, and customer submissions.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to provide insights and feedback on product performance.
Assist in the identification and resolution of issues during the testing phase.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and product quality.
Safety and Documentation:
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Document and report any safety or technical issues encountered during testing.
Maintain accurate records of tests performed, including results, methodologies, and deviations from standard procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum O/N levels or equivalent; An associate diploma or higher in a related field is preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in automotive testing, quality control, or a related technical role.
Applicants without experience but with good learning ability are welcome to apply.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints with precision.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of manual dexterity.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Proven ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, often in a fixed position.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Capability to lift and move components and assemblies as needed (up to 20kg).
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a high-precision manufacturing or laboratory environment.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to undergo continuous training and stay updated with the latest advancements in precision assembly techniques.
Flexibility to work overtime or shift hours if required.
Certification in relevant areas (e.g., IPC certification for electronic assemblies) is a plus.
