This position reports to the Test Manager and is responsible for setting up the test readiness on the shop floor. Other responsibilities include supporting test hardware maintenance and setup for engineering activities and production ramp-up, performing required test correlation, FA/REL verification testing, and test characterization on new product offloads.
Responsibilities
Assist engineers in carrying out all test-related activities.
Support and implement various product configuration setups.
Test, analyze, and troubleshoot product failures, collaborating closely with process and test engineers to improve yield.
Participate in Kaizen activities.
Update test tracking records.
Prepare and revise working instructions.
Provide training on work instructions to new hires.
Support the NPI process and production runs.
Participate in ISO activities, including implementation and maintenance.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
At least 1-3 years of experience in a testing and debugging environment.
Familiar with the Advantest, Teradyne, Cohu tester platform.
Familiar with TEL, Accretech, and SEMICS prober operation.
Familiar with Turret and Pick-n-Place handler operation.
Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, engineers, and superiors.
Good understanding of testing methods and concepts.
Knowledge of programming/scripting is a plus (C language, Perl or Python).
Demonstrate excellent written and communication skills.
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with lots of ambiguity.
Willing and able to perform 12 hours rotating shift work.
