Tek Village Associates LLP Hiring For Lead Software Engineer – Testing and QA at Singapore

Job Description

Looking for an exceptional software engineer to own the delivery of high-quality, reliable software/data products to our customers. This includes functional and performance testing.

A hands-on software engineer who is passionate about software quality and reliability.

Work with business owners, engineers, and support to identify and resolve defects.

Build test automation across all software/data products to ensure quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, develop, automate, and execute test coverage across web, API, data, and platform.
2. Create and publish quality metrics/KPI to monitor quality and reliability.
3. Work with the engineering team to create a test-driven engineering and development culture that drives measurable improvements in quality.
4. Work with engineering, support, and business owners to triage quality issues and prioritize issues for resolution.
5. Work with engineering to ensure performance testing of various software products and data pipelines.

Requirements (must have):

1. Experience creating test plans, implementing test automation, performance, and stress testing.
2. College degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
3. 6+ years of QA engineering lead experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
4. Experience building, shipping, and maintaining software, preferably in a Cloud environment.
5. Experience coding in Python, Java, Shell, C/C++ or equivalent language.

Requirements (Preferable):

1. At least 3 years of Software engineering experience in a cloud or distributed environment.
2. Experience designing, automating, and maintaining automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
3. Test automation for Cloud/Distributed products.
4. Experience with data quality assurance.
5. Experience with mobile application testing.
