We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team at Radix Berrie. As a key member of the pre-sales engineering team, you will play a critical role in driving the sales process by providing technical expertise, solution design, and strategic guidance to our clients. Your deep understanding of technology and system integration will help in demonstrating the value of our solutions and ensuring customer success.
Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Architecture:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and design tailored solutions.
Develop and present technical proposals, including solution architectures, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
Technical Expertise:
Provide in-depth technical support and consultancy to customers during the pre-sales phase.
Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical workshops.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and products relevant to the company's offerings.
Client Engagement:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Address technical queries and objections effectively to advance the sales process.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, product management, and engineering teams to align on product capabilities and roadmap.
Provide feedback to product management and engineering based on client interactions and market trends.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain detailed documentation for proposed solutions, including diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guides.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, partners, and internal teams.
Training and Enablement:
Conduct training sessions for sales teams to improve their technical understanding and sales effectiveness.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, preferably with a focus on system integration.
Proven track record of designing and delivering complex technical solutions.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of system integration, networking, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with a wide range of technologies, such as cloud computing, virtualization, security, and data management.
Proficiency in solution design tools and methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Ability to work with external vendors on solutioning.
Certifications:
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Veeam, Nutanix, AWS) are highly desirable.
