Techno-Functional Business Analyst - 1 year contract renewable

The Techno-Functional Business Analyst will bridge business needs and IT solutions by analysing requirements, designing system enhancements, and driving process improvements. This role involves collaborating with global teams, managing integration, and ensuring successful project execution.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and system enhancements.
2. Develop user flow diagrams, process maps, and wire-frames to improve business processes and user experience.
3. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define and refine product features.
4. Facilitate workshops and discussions to align technical solutions with business needs.
5. Support development teams by providing clear requirements, ensuring UI consistency, and validating deliverables.
6. Conduct system testing, UAT coordination, and quality assurance to ensure seamless implementation.
7. Identify risks, design test scenarios, and prepare user guides and training materials.
8. Act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth communication and execution.
9. Maintain and update product documentation, including functional specifications and user manuals.
10. Drive process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of IT solutions.

Profile

You are a successful candidate if you have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
2. At least 8 years of experience in software or web development as a business analyst, designer, or architect.
3. Strong understanding of business processes and IT systems to effectively align technology solutions with business needs.
4. Proficiency in web technologies (Java/J2EE), databases (Oracle/Postgres), SQL, APIs, and system integration concepts.
5. Experience in defining test scenarios, coordinating UAT, and ensuring high-quality software solutions.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve system and process challenges.
7. Effective communication and stakeholder management for seamless collaboration with global teams.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while managing multiple priorities independently.
9. Willingness to travel occasionally based on business requirements.
