In this role, a typical day will include:

1. Ensure contact lenses are manufactured to the best quality level possible.
2. Perform activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices in a controlled and regulated environment.
3. Ensure compliance to Data Integrity such that information is attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate.
4. Perform all production activities at various stages under cleanroom environment and work as a team with cross-functional team members to achieve production targets in compliance with cGMP, quality and safety requirements.
5. Handle production tasks and ensure daily targets and the highest product quality are achieved.
6. Maintain the quality standard of Contact Lens manufacturing.
7. Meet the yield, equipment performance, and uptime of the LTs being assigned.
8. Perform IPC (in process check) such as Visual Lens Inspection and Operator Packaging check.
9. Schedule contact lenses to be sterilized within 12 hrs.
10. Perform simple machine setup e.g., Ink change.
11. Support maintenance activities and troubleshoot machine issues.
12. Maintain 5S in the production floor.
13. Participate in Kaizen project for continuous improvement in manufacturing performance.
14. Perform GxP cleaning and production end waste disposal.

Job Requirement:

NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or any other equivalent engineering fields.

At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment, production operations, GMP/GDP manufacturing or any other related manufacturing sectors.
