Technician / Care Officer [Wildlife / Animal Life]

Summary:

• Basic $1800 - $2500 [Salary will be commensurate with experience]

Job Responsibilities:

1) Animal Care Officer

• Distribute food to animals under supervision, adhering to dietary requirements.
• Handle, restrain, and relocate animals as needed.
• Perform basic animal care, including showering, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness through general housekeeping and arranging supplies.

2) Wildlife Technician

• Conduct trapping, handling, and releasing of wildlife, including boars, stray dogs, monkeys, civet cats, and other animals.
• Perform wildlife trapping and handling tasks (training will be provided).
• Manage animal transportation and ensure humane removal of animals.
• Handle documentation and administrative tasks related to operations.
• Maintain and repair trapping equipment as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Entry Level. No experience is required for the Technician role.
• At least 1 year of work experience or equivalent in animal husbandry/handling and care preferred for Animal Care Officer role.
