Job Description:
Familiarize with heavy machinery mechanical/hydraulic/electrical systems.
Perform setup/erection, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and regular maintenance servicing of machines on site.
Perform outdoor/indoor servicing and repair activities as per customers’ requests.
Adopt a hands-on approach to resolve technical issues independently.
Knowledge of diagnosing defects and repairing mechanical equipment such as heavy machines, crawler cranes, excavators, or drilling rigs.
Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.
Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on machines and related components in the field.
Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
Ensure safety standards comply with company policies.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the heavy machinery industry.
Familiarity with hydraulic systems and machinery electrical systems, with the ability to understand hydraulic system theory and complete heavy machinery troubleshooting tasks.
Possession of a Class 3 License or above is an advantage.
