TECHNICAL TRADER

We are a dynamic and ambitious Singapore-based trading team focused on capturing opportunities in the global futures markets using a disciplined technical analysis approach. We are looking for a highly motivated Junior to Mid-Level Technical Trader to work alongside the Principal in managing a large futures portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with classical technical analysis and rule-based trading, a deep respect for risk management principles, and a 2+ year track record of successful trading. While the primary responsibility is assisting with the firm’s core trading book, there is an opportunity to manage an independent book, either immediately or in the future.

1. Work closely with the Principal to analyse markets, execute trades, and refine trading strategies.
2. Assist in trade execution, portfolio monitoring, risk assessment, and performance tracking for the firm’s main book.
3. Conduct in-depth chart analysis, trade planning, and execution based on well-defined technical setups.
4. Maintain a disciplined approach to risk and portfolio management, including clear entry, exit, and stop-loss rules.
5. Continuously refine strategies and adapt to evolving market conditions.
6. Collaborate with the team to discuss market conditions, trade ideas, and execution strategies.
7. Over time, develop and manage an independent book.

1. Experience: 1-5 years of trading experience, preferably in a proprietary or institutional setting, with a proven understanding of technical trading strategies.
2. Technical Analysis Mastery: Strong proficiency in classical charting principles, price action, and risk management techniques.
3. Market Exposure: Experience trading futures, FX, commodities, or equities with a focus on discretionary technical setups.
4. Risk Management Discipline: A clear understanding of risk-reward dynamics and capital preservation.
5. Self-Starter: A highly motivated, independent thinker who thrives in a structured yet entrepreneurial environment.
6. Execution & Decision-Making: Ability to execute trades efficiently and adjust positions based on evolving market conditions.
