Technical System Analyst (Detica/NetReveal)

Responsibilities

1. Configure and manage Detica/NetReveal jobs, including job sequencing, scheduling, and execution.
2. Implement and fine-tune business rules, thresholds, and detection models in NetReveal.
3. Define data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows within NetReveal.
4. Optimize batch jobs and real-time processing to ensure system efficiency.
5. Analyze table structures, data models, and relationships within the NetReveal database.
6. Assess data availability and integrity at the database level for fraud detection and AML monitoring.
7. Identify potential performance bottlenecks and implement tuning strategies.
8. Work with SQL queries, indexing, and database optimization techniques to enhance system performance.
9. Investigate and resolve system issues, job failures, and data inconsistencies.
10. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend technical solutions.
11. Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
12. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with upstream/downstream systems.

Requirements

1. 8+ years of experience as a Technical System Analyst in Detica/NetReveal.
2. Strong expertise in job setup, sequencing, and rule configurations in NetReveal.
3. Deep understanding of NetReveal’s database schema, table structures, and data flow.
4. Experience in SQL queries, indexing, and database optimization.
5. Ability to assess data availability, integrity, and processing logic at the database level.
6. Knowledge of performance tuning strategies for large-scale data processing.
7. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for system failures and data discrepancies.
