Technical Support Engineer

Title: Technical Support Engineer

Job Type: Full time

Location: Singapore

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Installation / Training / Acceptance tests of delivered equipment.
2. Technical support to sales team in the region, including pre-sale demonstration of products.
3. Open and follow-through of the 24/7 Support Hotline, Support email, and customer requests.
4. Provide equipment installations / demonstrations / on-site customer support within the APAC geographical zone and occasionally outside this zone.
5. Document and record all support claims and incidents within company database, per company policy and procedure.
6. Prepare project specifications and time-line with customers.
7. Testing, evaluating, modifying and re-testing Exail products.
8. Writing reports and documentation of product tests and results.
9. Analyzing and interpreting data.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. A degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
2. Demonstrates service-oriented attitude, providing successful product support for customer satisfaction.
3. Self-motivated and technically curious approach to work.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication.
5. Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
6. Ability to think and work independently, to analyze and repair equipment both remotely and on-site.
7. Must be willing to travel up to ~40% of the year.

Technical training will be provided.
