Service Manager

• Industry: Manufacturing / Building & Construction
• Basic Salary: Up to $5000 (Depending on experience)
• Working days & hours: Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Location: Ubi

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the Service Department, focusing on growth, profitability, and efficient operations.
2. Manage service calls, scheduling, staffing, and inventory control.
3. Collaborate with production teams and ensure smooth coordination.
4. Lead and develop service staff to meet business goals.
5. Build strong customer relationships and grow the service client base.
6. Manage debt collection for service customers.
7. Provide accurate technical advice and prepare quotations for repairs and installations.
8. Communicate schedules and coordinate service crews for timely delivery.
9. Maintain high-quality service standards and ensure workplace safety.
10. Support preventative maintenance initiatives and business growth.
11. Prepare and process invoices and service paperwork.
12. Resolve customer, supplier, or operational disputes effectively.
13. Notify Directors of incidents or issues and ensure compliance with company policies.

Job Requirements:

1. Min. Nitec in Mechanical or equivalent will be an added advantage.
2. Min 3 years of relevant experience in Building & Construction OR Electrical with mechanical or technical knowledge is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of the company’s products and customer service needs.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
5. Prior experience in team leadership and management skills.
6. Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
