Technical Operations Data Engineer Intern

Position Overview: The Data Engineer Intern will be a dynamic contributor to the Technical Operations & Innovation team's digitization initiatives. They will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive innovation and efficiency in supply chain operations.

Project Brief

1. The project aims to move to a more automated and digitalized reporting for innovation and supply disruptions. This project aligns with the strategic goal of transforming to become world-class supply chain partners through enhanced data management and accessibility, leading to more informed decision-making.
2. The activities involved in this project include:
1. Creating a platform to integrate various dashboards.
2. Creating a cross-function collaboration platform on innovation project management.
3. Data automation for reporting and analysing.
3. The benefit of this project includes:
1. Efficiency Improvement: Integrate various data sources/Dashboards into an easy reference and retrievable format.
2. Data Integration: Creation of data automation with less manual intervention.
3. Enhanced Collaboration: Platform for all team members to collaboratively work on the same database/data platform for innovation project management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage with the Technical Operations & Innovation team and related functions to understand business needs and identify opportunities to integrate data science solutions for data-driven solutions.
2. Deliver defined internal Technical Operations & Innovation digitalization project aimed to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Technical Operations & Innovation processes.
1. Develop scalable data pipelines for analytical and operational use cases.
2. Contribute to the creation of a unified data model to enable exponential scalability and enterprise value creation.
3. Document and communicate findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
4. Provide knowledge transfer to Technical Operations and Innovation team on data and its automation processes/approaches.

Qualifications

1. Currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools.
3. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a 'problem first, not data first' approach.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Strong communication skills to effectively share insights and recommendations.
