Technical Officer (Transmission Projects)

Shortlisted candidates will be assigned to one of the below projects:

What You'll Do:

Regional Projects

1. Assist Project Engineer in the co-ordination of civil works for substation building projects with parties concerned.
2. Assist Project Engineer in monitoring and supervising the equipment erection works and cable installation works to ensure contractors comply with the technical specifications, contractual and statutory requirements, and within the stipulated quality of equipment and workmanship.
3. Ensure proper risk assessment and mitigation measures are in place under WSH Act.
4. Implement the Contractor Safety Management scheme.
5. Carry out site measurement of work done.
6. Assist Project Engineer in commissioning check and the final commissioning of all equipment and cable circuits under the contracts.
7. Assist Project Engineer in arranging for handing-over of all equipment and cable circuits completed to the EHVN/RN Sections.
8. Perform standby duties.

Extra High Voltage Projects

1. Assist Project Engineer in monitoring and supervising the equipment erection works and cable installation works to ensure contractors comply with the technical specifications, contractual and statutory requirements, and within the stipulated quality of equipment and workmanship.
2. Ensure proper risk assessment and mitigation measures are in place under WSH Act.
3. Carry out daily tool box meeting.
4. Implement the Contractor Safety Management scheme.
5. Carry out site measurement of work done.
6. Assist Project Engineer in commissioning check and the final commissioning of all equipment and cable circuits under the contracts.
7. Assist Project Engineer in arranging for handing-over of all equipment and cable circuits completed to the EHVN/RN Sections.
8. Perform standby duties for EHV alarms.

What You'll Need:

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any of the recognised Polytechnics in Singapore.
2. Relevant working experience would be advantageous.
3. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply (On-job training will be provided).
4. A team player with a good working attitude and basic computer knowledge.
5. Capability to engage key stakeholders and customers.
6. Possess own transport or driving license would be advantageous.
