Technical Officer / Technician (Electrical)

Job Description:

Working location is at Jurong Island.

Responsible for carrying out maintenance works in a safe, efficient and timely manner in accordance with maintenance strategy, to meet planned schedule requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Attend to work orders allocated by Maintenance Engineers.
2. Analyse process parameters, alarms and information/drawings to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
3. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure that plant equipment and auxiliary systems continue to operate smoothly and efficiently.
4. Perform unit functional tests for re-commissioning of overhaul units.
5. Lead in the repair or replacement of defective or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
6. Assess spare part requirements and raise purchases, record parts and materials used, and review tender quotations.
7. Coordinate logistic arrangements for all maintenance activities.
8. Maintain a safe and orderly work area by practicing organized housekeeping.
9. Preparation of weekly activity reports.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

1. Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
2. Preferably possesses 3 years' experience in Engineering or related field.
3. Self-driven, with a good working attitude and a good team player.
