Technical Officer / Assistant Engineer

You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of handling equipment and facilities. The role includes conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with operations teams to minimize downtime and maintain optimal equipment performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of systems and equipment, including warehouse systems, material handling and automation systems, refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, packaging and inspection machines, washing machines, and waste management systems.
2. Ensure all maintenance work is carried out timely and according to safety regulations and company standards.
3. Manage the technical purchase requisition of spare parts, contracts, and services.
4. Proactively resolve technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Support additional relevant duties and project assignments when required.

Requirements:

1. At least a Diploma in mechanical engineering or related field.
2. At least 2 years of working experience.
3. Able to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
4. Have knowledge in operating industrial workshop equipment and welding tools.
