Technical Lab Assistant (FOOD MANUFACTURING MNC) - North/1 year/up to $4500 #HAO

Salary: up to $4500 + 120 transport allowance

Duration: 1 year contract

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri Office Hours

Job Description:

1. Technical Support:
   • Conducting laboratory and pilot plant trials to prepare technical presentations/reports.
   • Responding to inquiries: Addressing customer questions and concerns via Teams/Zoom, email, or chat.
   • Troubleshooting issues: Helping sales resolve technical hurdles to meet customers’ success criteria.
   • Continuously train internal and external stakeholders on product usage, best practices, and industry trends.
2. Technical Data & Documentation:
   • Generate new technical science-based qualitative, quantitative, and sensorial data that ensures Kemin stays ahead of competition in all focus segments – bakery & confectionery, sauces & seasoning, processed meat (not limited to these).
   • Develop and maintain the most up-to-date technical documentation, including product specifications, application guides, and troubleshooting manuals within SharePoint.
3. Lab & Safety Management:
   • Oversee laboratory operations, ensuring equipment maintenance, inventory management, and a safe working environment.
   • Implement 5S principles to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
   • Implement and maintain safety protocols, conduct regular risk assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Job Requirements: Min Diploma/Degree in Life Sciences or similar with min 2 years of relevant experience.
