We are looking to hire a talented technical coordinator. In this role, you will be required to meet with clients to determine their design requirements, plan and execute the design of mechanical devices, develop and test prototypes, and work closely with the manufacturing teams to ensure that design specifications are met.

To be a successful technical coordinator, you should be mathematically and mechanically minded and have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. A top-notch mechanical design engineer should possess detailed knowledge of engineering and design principles and be able to find creative solutions to technical problems.

Responsibilities:

1. Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.
2. Conducting research to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems.
3. Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs.
4. Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs.
5. Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing.
6. Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics.
7. Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
8. Coordinating with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
9. Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
10. Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
2. Literacy in English – written and verbal.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer in cranes, suspended scaffolding and hoisting equipment.
4. Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
5. Knowledge in structural calculations with software such as StaadPro and Idea Statica.
6. Knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices and Euro Code 3.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
10. Attentive to detail and critically minded.

Salary: $2.8k - $3K

Work hours: Mon – Fri 8:30 – 5pm, Sat 8:30 – 12pm

Annual Leave: 14 days annual leave for first 2 years of continuous service, additional 1 day annual leave thereafter per completed year of employment to max of 18 days.
