Overview:

The Digital Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the role of Business Team Leader - Corporate/SME Digital Product Owner to lead in delivering digital services to our Corporate/SME customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of Corporate/SME business needs, Digitalisation and Digital Banking processes, best practices, regulatory requirements and relevant technical aspects. This role is crucial for ensuring our digital and transformation program is providing the highest standards of customer experience while still meeting the regulatory requirements.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the head of digital operations, the Corporate/SME Digital Business Team Lead will drive the strategic and operational initiatives for the Corporate and SME business. This role involves working closely with cross-functional team heads to execute digital and transformation programs such as developing and implementing innovative products (including end-to-end processes), and managing client relationships to achieve intended organizational goals and objectives. The role will play a crucial role in enhancing the digital experience for Corporate and SME clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Corporate/SME Digital Business Team as a Product Owner to achieve the following:
    1. Digital Sign-Ups – Existing to Bank Corporate/SME Customers
    2. Digital Engagement and Service Adoption – Product Sales and Transactional Services
    3. Digital Product Roadmap – Products and Portfolio growth
    4. Strategic Driver:
      • Development and execution of transformation strategies for Corporate and SME clients, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
      • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to support the creation of competitive digital offerings.
    5. Product and Service Development:
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of digital channels and products tailored to the needs of institutions and SMEs clients to drive product acquisition.
      • Participate in the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring channels and products meet business and market demands, while optimizing client experience.
      • Innovate through business partnerships and ecosystems to create new business value.
    6. Client Engagement:
      • Support the management of relationships with key Corporate and SME clients, providing assistance in delivering customized Digital solutions.
      • Enable Corporate/SME sales and relationship management teams to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
      • Continuously gather feedback from internal and external users to drive ongoing system improvements to enhance functionality and experience.
      • Manage a dedicated customer helpdesk to address any client onboarding or technical issue efficiently.
    7. Digital Implementation:
      • Contribute to the transformation initiatives, ensuring that solutions are effectively and seamlessly integrated into existing systems and processes.
      • Assist in the adoption of new technologies that enhance the digital experience for clients.
      • Conduct training and familiarization workshops for staff prior to the launch of any new digital initiatives or enhancements of existing features and capabilities.
    8. Team Collaboration:
      • Work closely with product managers, customer segment managers, and other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
      • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
    9. Risk and Compliance:
      • Ensure that all digital channels and products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
      • Assist in identifying potential risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
    10. Performance Monitoring:
      • Drive performance of digital products (acquisition) and services (adoption and utilization), providing regular feedback and recommendations for improvements.
      • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management on the progress of transformation initiatives such as digital banking and services.

    Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital product and channels, with an innate understanding of the business needs of SMEs and Corporates.
  • Experience in supporting Digitalisation and transformation initiatives and working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong understanding of the digital banking landscape, particularly for SMEs and Corporate banking.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with banking technologies and platforms.
  • Prior experience as a business manager and/or product owner for Corporate/SME Digital banking platforms within banks and/or regulated FINTECHs is preferred.
