We’re looking for a Team Lead (Business Development & Event Management) to build, lead, and grow a high-performing event sales team while ensuring the seamless execution of events. This role requires a strong mix of sales leadership, business development, and hands-on event operations experience.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Drive new business opportunities and client acquisitions, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-value corporate event projects.
  • Develop customized event proposals and pitches, presenting compelling solutions to clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and closing deals to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new market trends, opportunities, and potential service expansions to drive business growth.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing event sales team, setting clear KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Provide training, coaching, and strategic direction to ensure the team’s success.
  • Establish and refine team workflows, SOPs, and sales strategies for optimal efficiency.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure the team meets financial and operational goals.

Profit & Revenue Management

  • Ensure the team operates as a profitable unit, meeting or exceeding revenue targets while managing costs efficiently.
  • Monitor P&L, budget tracking, and project financials to maintain healthy profit margins.
  • Implement strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives to maximize revenue per event.

Event Operations & Execution

  • Oversee the planning and execution of major corporate events, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal teams (design, production, logistics) to align event deliverables.
  • Ensure smooth vendor negotiations, logistics coordination, and on-site event management.
  • Troubleshoot and handle last-minute event challenges while maintaining a high standard of execution.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key corporate clients, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Manage client expectations, feedback, and post-event analysis to continuously refine services.
  • Ensure a 4.5/5 or higher client satisfaction rating across all projects.

Who Should Apply?

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, event sales, or corporate event management.
  • Proven track record in closing high-value deals and scaling revenue streams.
  • Strong leadership experience—able to recruit, manage, and grow a BD/event sales team.
  • Hands-on experience in event planning, logistics, and vendor coordination.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation, budgeting, and profit management.
  • Driven, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
