Lead and manage the recovery team to achieve key performance indicators including reducing newly classified NPLs and maximizing recoveries on existing NPL.
Oversee the repossession process for collateral, such as vehicles and properties, ensuring all actions are conducted in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Strategically manage the sale of repossessed assets to achieve maximum recovery value.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce charge-offs and improve recovery rates.
Monitor and analyze team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate action plans.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on team performance, recovery trends, and key operational metrics.
Establish and maintain productivity tracking systems to measure individual and team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
At least 10 years of experience in recovery operations, preferably in auto loans and mortgages.
Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
Strong knowledge of repossession and collateral management processes.
Expertise in productivity tracking and data-driven performance optimization.
Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements related to loan recovery.
