Team Head, Deposits and Remittance (Banking industry, up to $10k)(ID: 672434)

Responsibilities:
The role is a leading an Operations Deposits and Remittance team doubling up as a Checker and leading enhancement projects.

• Overseeing the Operations team BAU to ensure adherence to standards and procedures of the Bank.

• Identifying any operational and process gaps and implement controls to mitigate risks.

• Drive transformational projects where required, with a focus on fine tuning and refining gaps and improving current processes.

• Develop and implement growth strategies, present new ideas and establish priorities for the Bank’s operations.

• Work closely with team leaders to understand development and training requirements of the Operations team.

• Provide mentoring to Ops team members, motivate staff to meet Organizational goals.

• Resolving all Operational issues that may arise from time to time.

Requirements:

• 10 -12 years’ related working experience within the Banking industry Operations space with strong domain knowledge covering Deposits and Remittances.

• Relevant experience in operational management and operating as an effective leader overseeing multiple teams.

• Proven track record of change management and improving effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.
