Responsibilities:
The role is a leading an Operations Deposits and Remittance team doubling up as a Checker and leading enhancement projects.
Overseeing the Operations team BAU to ensure adherence to standards and procedures of the Bank.
Identifying any operational and process gaps and implement controls to mitigate risks.
Drive transformational projects where required, with a focus on fine tuning and refining gaps and improving current processes.
Develop and implement growth strategies, present new ideas and establish priorities for the Bank’s operations.
Work closely with team leaders to understand development and training requirements of the Operations team.
Provide mentoring to Ops team members, motivate staff to meet Organizational goals.
Resolving all Operational issues that may arise from time to time.
Requirements:
10 -12 years’ related working experience within the Banking industry Operations space with strong domain knowledge covering Deposits and Remittances.
Relevant experience in operational management and operating as an effective leader overseeing multiple teams.
Proven track record of change management and improving effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.
