Teaching Assistant in Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management.

Job Description

The Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management has openings for teaching assistants to support our expanding curriculum.
This full time entry level position is ideal for fresh graduates in pursuit of an academic career in IHLs with an opportunity to pursue a PhD in Engineering on a part time basis concurrently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the lead lecturers in supporting tutorial and lab sessions
• Co-lecturing and/or full lecturing duties
• Guidance / contact hours with students on the modules taught

Job Requirements

• A good university degree or Masters in Statistics / Mathematics / Mechanical / Electrical / Computer and/or System Engineering.
• Some teaching experiences preferred.
• Must be passionate in teaching and mentoring students.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and programming languages such as Python, R, C#, C++, Java, Excel (VBA), Tableau, etc
• Excellent articulation of the English language.
• Strong organisational, project management and interpersonal skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the team and the faculty members.
