Talent Acquisition Specialist (Operations), Singapore
As a member of the Center of Excellence (CoE) Talent Acquisition (TA), the Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage end-to-end recruitment for temporary and/or permanent positions to attract top talent for Symrise in Singapore, particularly for roles in the Supply Chain Operations and/or Manufacturing environment.
In your daily work, you will collaborate with Hiring Managers and the Local HR Business Partners to understand the business and function as Symrise Employer Brand Ambassador to the external market by responsibly dealing with candidates, vendors, and external partners. Moreover, you will partner with the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager on strategic recruitment, hiring forecasts and employer branding initiatives in the region and beyond.
The Position:
Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Matters
- Collaborate with HR and other CoEs to provide a best-in-class Hiring Manager experience
- Create and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process for both selected and non-selected candidates
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process for all positions in scope, including job descriptions clarification, candidate sourcing, screening, and pre-selection, interview coordination, online assessments, hiring manager communication, offer negotiation and pre-boarding process
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing strategies or techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates
- Work with Hiring Managers to identify the required qualification, skills, competencies, work experience, and cultural fit and pre-screen candidates accordingly incl. compensation needs
- Facilitate the assessment process to evaluate candidates’ relevant knowledge, skills, and competencies by applying a combination of technical / competency-based interviews, ability or psychometric tests, and other techniques
Recruitment Marketing & Employer Branding
- Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage in support of the Symrise’s Diversity & Inclusion strategic plan
- Participate actively in major recruitment campaigns and business-critical projects aligned to the TA global strategy
- Support projects related to Talent Acquisition, Recruitment and Employer Branding and strive for continuously improving the Symrise Talent Acquisition landscape
Global Mobility & Offer Process
- In collaboration with HR Services and Global Mobility, responsible for handling of international local hires and implementation of international assignment agreements
- Draft and review agreements and maintain an understanding of all agreement terms and applicable processes, consulting with CoE C&B/HR Services as needed
- Negotiate with candidates and CoE C&B/HR Services as needed regarding terms of employment
- Deliver verbal and written offers of employment, articulating the total rewards and inherent appeal of the organization and role
- Maintain working knowledge of the Symrise total rewards, offer construction process, and the proper utilization of templates for work contracts and employment letters
The Ideal Candidate:
- University degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of sourcing/recruiting experience in an executive search firm/recruitment agency and/or inhouse recruiting function within a fast-paced business environment
- Extensive high-volume recruiting experience in a competitive industry (sourcing, screening, and closing candidates) with the ability to efficiently manage an average of 25+ light industrial requisitions
- Demonstrated track-record of excellence in sourcing and assessing technical talent
- Hands-on experience in sourcing passive talent through a variety of sourcing techniques such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, name generation research, relationship building, and complex internet searches preferred
- Experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) tool, or other recruiting software
- Strong professional experience with a variety of different assessment/selection methods, incl. competency-based interviews, online assessments, psychometric tests, etc.)
- General knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and relevant government regulations is preferred
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
- Full professional proficiency in English
