Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Actively search for potential candidates from job boards (e.g. Jobstreet, MyCareersFuture), social media platforms, and other recruitment channels (canvassing or networking events included).
  2. Write compelling and accurate job advertisements to attract candidates to apply. Conduct screening calls to filter out suitable candidates.
  3. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates through proactive outreach. Encourage employee referrals from the current team to tap into their network.
  4. Review resumes and applications to identify candidates with the right skills, experiences, and potential for growth.
  5. Conduct cold calls and video interviews with potential candidates to actively sell our company and Business Development role.
  6. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  7. Work closely with BD team leaders to fully understand their requirements, such as personality, experience, and sales skills.
  8. Have regular catch-ups to review the status of the candidate pipeline, feedback on new joiners (performance, culture fit), and adjust sourcing strategies as needed.
  9. Assist in preparing and extending job offers, ensuring candidates are well managed throughout the process.
  10. Help coordinate onboarding activities for new hires.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates and interview feedback.
  12. Provide a positive candidate experience through transparent, respectful, and timely communication at every stage of the hiring process.
  13. Monitor KPIs such as hiring targets, offer acceptance rate, and candidate quality. Regularly report on progress to sales leadership and HR.
  14. Ensure continuous improvement by identifying gaps in the recruitment process and suggesting improvements.

Requirements:

  1. Prior recruitment experience preferred but not mandatory, either in-house or agency.
  2. A growth-oriented, positive, and solution-driven mindset with eagerness to learn.
  3. Can-do attitude, resilience, and the ability to maintain a positive outlook.
  4. Strong desire to develop within the Talent Acquisition field and willingness to learn from feedback and experiences.
  5. Strong ownership of tasks without needing constant direction and takes initiative.
