About the Role - We are seeking a dedicated TA Advisor to help us attract, source and hire top talent in support of our Industrial Automation sector for the APAC region. The TA Advisor plays a critical role in end-to-end full cycle recruitment from attraction, sourcing, assessment, selection and pre-boarding. The role requires a strategic thinker who will develop a deep understanding of the business sector and has passion for research coupled with the ability to attract key candidates to drive IMI's growth and success. Whilst the role will primarily support our Industrial Automation sector, this role may be required to provide back up support to other sector recruitment as recruitment fluctuates and capacity allows.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies and methods to attract high quality candidates. Defines a clear sourcing strategy with the business, and provides solutions for any potential challenges, continuously advising stakeholders to market conditions and recommendations.
- Employer Branding and Talent Attraction: Participate in employer branding and talent attraction initiatives leveraging our global EVP to enhance IMI’s reputation as an employer of choice to attract high calibre candidates.
- Talent Pipelining: Able to proactively recommend strong candidates to the business due to close knowledge of future business priorities and structures. Maintains a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and future openings, developing warm candidate relationships with a longer term success focus.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough candidate screening assessments, including technical and behavioural interviews, to ensure a strong fit with the company culture and job requirements.
- Business Partnering and Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and to provide guidance on recruitment best practices; delivers timely status updates and recommendations to pivot points.
- Build Networks: Leverages internal and external interactions as networking opportunities to strategically expand network as well as talent pipelining with coming across great talent for IMI (with awareness of succession plans and requirements). Stay up to date on industry trends and market conditions.
- Candidate Experience: Is innovative in approach with close attention paid to moments that matter throughout the candidate lifecycle and through pre-boarding process. Engages candidates for future opportunities and potential where they may exist at IMI.
- Offers and Negotiations: Can manage complex offers (buyouts, sign on bonuses, counter offers) and actively provides input or offer recommendations based on market knowledge. Confident in dealing with complex negotiations and able to manage them independently. Understands the motivations of their stakeholders and incorporates this knowledge into their negotiations. Manages candidate through all preboarding stages and paperwork up to day one.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years recruitment experience with a minimum of 2 years of that having been within a corporate, in-house setting with a focus on multi-country recruitment.
- Strong understanding of regional labour markets, local and regional employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate strength in business partnership skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills working with key stakeholders within varying levels of management and function.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical mindset through prior success measures (KPIs) as well as utilising data insights to inform and pivot recruitment strategies.
- Creative online and social direct sourcing strategies and ability to influence both candidates and hiring teams.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other online sourcing tools to manage the end-to-end recruitment process through pre-boarding phases.
- Strong commitment to providing a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring balanced slates at sourcing and shortlisting phases that are representative of market availability.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to work both independently and part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior recruitment experience working within a global multinational environment.
- Proficiency in multiple languages relevant to the region of focus.
- Advanced educational or professional diplomas or certifications relevant to human resources or the recruitment industry.
- Deep understanding of the industrial engineering landscape and prior experience recruiting in this sector would be a decided advantage.
