As a Systems Process Specialist, you will act in the 1-Stop-Shop and be part of the support, continuous improvement and onboarding and adoption value streams. The Systems Process Specialist has a profound process understanding and is collaborating with the Business Support Community to continuously improve business processes and underlying IT applications.
The Opportunity
- This role involves providing Level 1 (24x7 on-call rotation) on-site or remote support as the primary contact for site stakeholders and troubleshooting various applications related to manufacturing. It also includes maintaining close coordination and communication with end users and site business stakeholders during major incidents.
- Collaborating with the global IT team across different locations and time zones, supporting and monitoring the quality of IT service ticket closure, validating resolution proposals, performing necessary tests, and maintaining close coordination and communication with end users and site business stakeholders during major incidents.
- Support new IT initiatives/product/system roll out/Go Live to site.
- Adhere to the requirements specified in IT related Roche's quality policies/quality standards or related SOP.
- Supporting the application/system lifecycle, acting as a subject matter expert on IT technical requests during GMP audits and planned/unplanned events, participating in the lifecycle planning/execution of ITOT systems, describing the full lifecycle of an integrated change process, supporting computer system validation qualification, and participating in the retirement/decommissioning of ITOT systems/applications if required.
Who you are
- You should hold a BS or higher degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, business administration or equivalent degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with SAP (ERP,S4 HANA) and EWM (e.g. Plan to Delivery Product, Plan to Retire Asset), MES is strongly desirable.
- Knowledge with LIMs, Enterprise Service Bus e.g. Mulesoft, Solace and in scripting (eg. Google apps script), BI tool (eg. Tableau), rational database management system and robotic automation is advantageous.
- Good to have knowledge about design, implementation, commissioning, qualification/validation and maintenance of system and Windows Server Administration, SQL Databases, OPC communication, crystal report, software development for web based interface, integration with enterprise business systems (Mulesoft, LIMS, SAP, etc), TCP/IP, Cyber Security and Data Integrity concept.
