Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer - RFID security systems and wireless
• Position Title: Systems & Network Engineer/ Network Engineer
• Working Location: Ang Mo Kio
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 6:15pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $5500 + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other domain specialists to design technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop solution designs, project documentation, and material bills based on customer needs.
• Conduct evaluations, Proof of Concept trials, and liaise with vendors to understand product offerings.
• Support project implementation including system administration, network support, and training in Windows/Linux environments.
• Perform network troubleshooting, upgrades, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Manage ad hoc technical tasks and document system specifications.
• Stay updated on networking trends and pursue necessary vendor certifications.
• Any other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in network design and project implementation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, TCP/IP, and risk management.
• Experience in virtualization, as well as on-premise, hybrid, and cloud networking.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Hands-on experience with server and network hardware setups and software configurations.
• Knowledge of CCTV, audio/video systems, and IP communication technologies.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP) preferable.
