Systems Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Leads a medium to large team of Systems Engineers on offshore wind energy-related projects.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Supports ongoing systems engineering activities.
• Performs requirements analysis, requirements management, and system analysis.
• Develops and maintains project-specific Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to manage large volumes of documents and project data.
• Maintains systems engineering documentation, including SEMP, requirements databases, and discrepancy tracking databases.
• Manages verification and validation planning, as well as verification results.
• Participates in and manages trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings.
• Prepares and delivers technical presentations both internally and to customers.
• Monitors and reports on metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures.
• Trains team members on Project Systems Engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or Marine Engineering) with programming and IT experience.
• A degree with a proven track record in Marine Offshore Construction, combined with programming and information management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate the effort required for Systems Engineering tasks.
• Knowledge of EPC, marine applications, and/or the oil and gas sector is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in data management.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like MagicDraw or Relatics is preferred.
• Experience with MySQL, VB, SharePoint, PowerBI, and other database management tools.
• INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification (ASEP or CSEP) is preferred but not required.
