Systems Analyst (A)

What the role is:

You will be part of a team working with various stakeholders within HDB and with external agencies to administer corporate IT systems and drive ICT initiatives/projects for HDB.

What you will be working on:

1. You will be required to review and analyse business needs, confer with stakeholders to evaluate requirements, discuss solutions, and develop a plan of approach.
2. Analyse existing processes and make recommendations to better streamline the overall processes within the solution.
3. Involve in the integration of the solution with other business systems and applications used in HDB.
4. Understand the IT and data management policies/guidelines to ensure compliance to these policies and guidelines.
5. Program to generate computer reports for policy review and analysis and operations.
6. Take on coordination work for the Group on IT-related matters.

What we are looking for:

You should possess a background in Information Systems or equivalent, and with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in Project Management. You should be meticulous, organised, and a fast learner with strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills. You can work well in a team environment as well as independently. Experience in programming, excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills will be an added advantage. Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract in the first instance. Conversion to permanent is dependent on good performance.
